Sikhism represents a belief that every Indian can be proud to be a part of. The Sikh Gurus are  held in high esteem and sacrosanct not only by Sikhs but by  all supporters of independence in general as role models. The Sikh Gurus have motivated us to be a better being in an era that was perhaps the most challenging chapter of our history. One cannot forget the contributions of Sikh Gurus and their selfless sacrifices to strengthen the societal framework.... giving them direction and provide leadership to overthrow the rule of invaders.
